Şti. of Türkiye for the supply of modern Patrol and Inspection Boats to be deployed at Mtwara Port and Bukoba Port, marking another milestone in the Government's efforts to strengthen maritime safety, security, environmental protection and regulatory oversight.
Speaking during the contract signing ceremony, TASAC Director General, Mr. Mohamed Salum, said the procurement demonstrates the Government's continued commitment, under the leadership of Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, to modernising maritime transport infrastructure and enhancing the country's maritime regulatory capacity.
"The signing of this contract is more than a procurement exercise.
