The Director General of the Kenya Maritime Authority (KMA), CPA Omae Nyarandi,  today, April 4, 2026, has paid a courtesy visit to the headquarters of the Tanzania Shipping Agencies Corporation (TASAC) in Dar es Salaam, reaffirming the strong and growing cooperation between the two maritime institutions.

CPA Nyaradi is part of the delegation of the President of Kenya, William Samoei Ruto, who is in Tanzania for a two-day State visit, where the signing of two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) aimed at advancing the maritime sector between Kenya and Tanzania.

TASAC’s Director General, Mr. Mohamed Salum, held a discussion centered on strengthening collaboration in maritime safety, regulatory frameworks, and capacity building.
