ORAL EXAMINATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR DECK AND ENGINE CANDIDATES
1. Oral Examination for both deck and engine candidates will be conducted in Dar es Salaam from 04th to 17th December 2023.
2. Engine candidates will be examined at TASAC Office, 7th Floor LATRA House and deck candidates will be examined at TASAC Office, 2nd Floor LATRA House.
3. A candidate for Oral Examination shall apply by submitting a duly completed application form obtained through TASAC website https://www.tasac.go.tz/ which shall be submitted at least twenty-one (21) days before the scheduled date for Oral Examination.
4. The application shall be accompanied by the relevant supplementary documents specified in the Oral Examination application form.
5. Upon being cleared for Oral Examination, the applicant will be required to pay appropriate fee for his/her Oral Examination.
6. Among others, a candidate is required to have appropriate knowledge of the relevant Maritime laws of Tanzania.
7. A candidate who without reasonable excuse fails to appear for an Oral Examination at the appointed time and place may be failed by default.
